The general contracting approach allows us to work together with the owner, architect and engineer to deliver the project according to budget and schedule. During the design stage, The Tower Group can provide cost estimates and value engineering, handle scheduling and plan construction. After our firm requests bids from subcontractors, we provide on-site construction supervision and oversee the warranty period once construction is complete.

Tower – OHL Group’s inspection and engineering staff diligently monitors the quality of construction as well as the materials, equipment and labor used throughout the project.

During the Pre-Construction phase, Tower – OHL Group will work to meet the owner’s functional, aesthetic, budgetary and scheduling needs by providing and reviewing a variety of design documents and calculating the cost. These services are delivered in a timely manner, taking into consideration budgetary and scheduling objectives.

Over the years, Tower – OHL Group has developed and refined its estimating system to establish the most accurate budget early in the process and control costs throughout the project. Our estimating team works to understand the client’s needs and then draws upon its extensive database of vendors and subcontractors to build the most accurate estimates possible. Details are incorporated into cost estimates as they become available during the pre-construction phase, allowing our estimating team to work on cost control while still in the design phase.

Creating a single point of contact between our company and the client for architectural and engineering design services as well as construction services has been beneficial to our clients. This method simplifies the process for the client and streamlines coordination internally for design and construction. Tower – OHL Group has embraced LEED, the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Green Building Rating System that is the nationally-accepted benchmark for the design, construction and operation of high-performance green buildings. We are members of the U.S. Green Build Council and have two LEED accredited project managers on staff. We recognize that this type of construction is the future and are excited to be a part of it.

Upon completion of a project, Tower – OHL Group will provide the client with comprehensive warranty manuals, continued warranty maintenance, and follow-up walkthroughs.
